Patented Changer Design

LIBRA, using a patented robotics design, consists of an elevator assembly and a scissors mechanism used to insert and retrieve the cassette. The simple design, with only six(6) moving parts, equates to a highly reliable changer system with an MTBF in excess of 65,000 insertions / retrievals.

With maintenance ease designed in, LIBRA has an impressive 30 minute MTTR for time critical installations. The entire robotic assembly is replaced through the rear I/O panel for limited downtime.
